Harper’s Landing (The Woodlands), Texas
A fire station and police sub-station located in the Harper’s Landing Village of The Woodlands.
Located on a 2.3 acre site of which approximately 1 ½ acres was utilized for the fire station. The 1
½ acres for the fire station was fenced, landscaped and provided with a lawn sprinkler system. It
also contained parking for eleven secured fire and eight police personnel, plus four public non-
accessible parking spaces and two accessible spaces for a total of twenty-five parking spaces; as
well as a natural gas generator (with a propane tank back-up) for an emergency standby electrical
system.
The fire and police sub-station structure is approximately 9,150 sq. ft. and contains the following
amenities: public entry with 24 hour emergency phone, public lobby and restrooms, day room &
dinning area, kitchen, eight individual fire personnel bedrooms with built-in wardrobe units for three
separate shifts, laundry room, toilet and shower facilities, fire lieutenant’s office, exercise room,
gear room (with commercial washer & dryer), two bay garage for two fire trucks and an EMS
ambulance, work/maintenance room, hose room, mechanical/electrical a room and an upstairs
storage area (accessible by stairs) of approximately 900 sq. ft..
